<\/p>\nWhen importing a car into Canada, there are guide lines that you must follow. The first step it to make sure you’ve compiled the proper documentation and information on the vehicle. Prior to crossing the border, you will need to submit specific documentation to insure that you are safe to cross. We\u2019ve created a check list to make sure that you have all the prerequisites needed to cross the border.<\/p>\n

If you have completed the check list above your car will be able to cross, but we are not done yet. You\u2019ll have 45 days to have the necessary changes made to your car, and have it inspected. Once you pass the inspection, you will be aloud to plate the vehicle and drive safely on Canadian roads.<\/p>\n

Please note:<\/strong><\/span> Not all vehicles that are manufactured for sale in the United States can be imported into Canada. Please ensure your vehicle can be importer prior to purchase<\/p>\n If you arrive at a CBSA office and your vehicle does not meet the requirements<\/strong> of both the CBSA and Transport Canada, you must either export or destroy your vehicle under the CBSA’s supervision. You are responsible for all the related costs.\u00a0 In such circumstances, duty and GST may not be refunded.\u00a0Remember that it is your responsibility to meet all import requirements.
