All we need from you is a copy of the <a title=\"commercial invoice\" href=\"http:\/\/clearit.ca\/forms-docs\/\"><strong>commercial invoice<\/strong><\/a>, also known as the bill of sale. This gives us accurate information on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the type of products you are importing<\/li>\n<li>what they are made of<\/li>\n<li>and how much you paid for them<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The rest of the information needed to clear your truck shipment will come directly from the terminal. Once your truck is close enough to the border, your trucking company will either email or fax over the bill of lading with PARS info attached. They will provide us with:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a detailed packing list<\/li>\n<li>Arrival notice<\/li>\n<li>Manifest<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is important to know that clearing Ocean shipments takes more time then other clearances. On average there is a 48 hour delay between your boat arriving and your goods being available for clearance. You cargo must be unloaded from the ship and placed in a warehouse before it can be properly cleared by your <a title=\"Canadian customs broker\" href=\"http:\/\/clearit.ca\">Canadian customs broker<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2157 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/clearit.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/2013\/12\/air.gif\" alt=\"Canadian Customs Broker clear air shipment \" width=\"869\" height=\"80\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\">Air<\/span><span style=\"color: #33cccc;\">Shipment<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Clearing Air cargo is very much the same as ocean cargo, only that it takes much less time. Air transport is the fastest way to get your goods from point A to point B, therefor your cargo is removed from the plane and is ready to clear within a short period of time of landing. Be sure to provide your <strong>Commercial invoice<\/strong> (bill of sale) and your forwarder will send us the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Packing list<\/li>\n<li>Airway bill<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once we have received both and your cargo has landed and been removed from the plane, we can go ahead and <a title=\"submit your shipment to customs\" href=\"https:\/\/process.clearit.ca\/clearance.php\">submit your shipment to customs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2158 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/clearit.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/2013\/12\/parcel.gif\" alt=\"Canadian Customs broker clear parcel shipment \" width=\"869\" height=\"80\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\">Parcel\/Courier<\/span><span style=\"color: #33cccc;\">Shipment<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Clearing a parcel shipment with a 3rd party broker has never been this easy. Simply phone your carrier and reference the<strong> tracking number<\/strong>. Have the agent update the broker info to <em>Clearit.ca<\/em> and voila! The courier company (aka: FedEx, UPS) will forward us all appropriate information once it is available include the<strong> commercial invoice<\/strong>. It is recommended however that you supply us with a copy of the commercial invoice<em> just in case\u00a0<\/em>the courier does not have a copy of their own.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Service Charges<\/h3>\n<p>Here at <em>Clearit.ca\u00a0<\/em><strong>Canadian Customs Brokers<\/strong>, we offer flat fee clearance charges.
